FLOWER CARE
Prepare the Flowers
Upon arrival of your floral bouquet, it is a good idea to cut the stems at a 45 degree angle approximately 1 inch from the bottom. This will prevent them from sitting flat on the bottom of the vase and give the stems a larger surface area to pull more water.
Begin With a Clean Vase
Add the flowers to a clean vase filled with fresh cold water, covering the bottom few inches of the flowers. Ensuring that your vase is clean will eliminate any harmful bacteria and make your flowers last longer. Avoid submerging any leaves or petals in the process.
Change the water regularly
We recommend changing the water every day if possible and cutting the stems each time you replace the water.
Placement of Flowers
To prolong the life of your flowers avoid placing flowers next to windows that are too cold or too hot. Instead place your arrangement in a shaded, cool area that receives indirect sunlight. The colder temperature helps preserve the blooms.
Also, keep your bouquet away from any fruit, as the ethylene gas released by the fruit can cause the flowers to age more quickly.
